Getting started

Welcome! Here’s the quickest path from signing up to a live sign-up station.

1. Create your account and shop

Head to app.substab.app and sign up. When you register, your first shop is created automatically — that’s the workspace that holds your subscribers, campaigns, and settings.

2. Fill in your details

Open Settings and add the essentials:

• From name and email — who your emails come from.
• Mailing address — required by anti-spam law and shown in every email footer.
• Logo and brand color — so emails and the kiosk look like you.

3. Pair a tablet

Go to Devices, generate a pairing code, and enter it on the tablet’s browser. That tablet is now your sign-up kiosk. Full steps in The kiosk.

4. Go live and collect

Once your required settings are saved, your shop goes live and the kiosk starts accepting sign-ups. Every person who enters their email gets a confirmation message — once they confirm, they’re a confirmed subscriber.

5. Send your first campaign

When you’re on a paid plan, open Campaigns, write your message, hit Preview, and send. Walkthrough in Campaigns.

Tip

Capturing subscribers is free. You only need a paid plan when you’re ready to send to them.
