What’s handled for you
Section titled “What’s handled for you”- Double opt-in — only people who confirm get added to your list.
- One-click unsubscribe — every campaign includes it, in the header and the footer.
- Your mailing address — shown in every email footer (required by CAN-SPAM).
- Automatic suppression — anyone who unsubscribes or hard-bounces is never emailed again.
Importing an existing list
Section titled “Importing an existing list”If you import a list you collected elsewhere, the same protections apply:
- You confirm the contacts gave you permission — SubsTab won’t email a purchased or scraped list.
- Anyone marked unsubscribed in your file is imported already suppressed, so a past opt-out is honored from day one.
- Contacts your previous tool already confirmed keep their original opt-in date; contacts with no record get a confirmation email before they can be sent anything.
Privacy requests (GDPR / CCPA)
Section titled “Privacy requests (GDPR / CCPA)”If a subscriber asks to access or delete their data, SubsTab supports it:
- A person can request deletion of their data themselves — no account needed.
- When data is erased, it’s removed from your shop and the email provider is told to stop processing it.
Your responsibilities
Section titled “Your responsibilities”- Only collect emails from people who are actually signing up.
- Keep your mailing address and sender details accurate.
- Honor unsubscribes (SubsTab does this automatically — don’t re-add people who opted out).
